lET’S TALK QUALIFICATIONS

Nowadays, social media feeds are filled with people trying to sell you a product they never will use after the video they post. The posts we see are curated. We consumers are bombarded with advice from these influencers who may not even practice what they preach. The world has caught on to the facade, and it is as if people's senses have heightened and can sniff out any misalignments in authenticity. It is only rightfully so that when we spend our precious time online, we choose people we can trust. People who can give us wholesome content that sparks insight, inspiration, and action in our real lives. That is what I strive to do. Now, I do not have a fancy degree in writing. I am no expert on people, parenting, beauty, photography, style, cooking, and the human experience. I am not perfect by any means. I, myself, am still searching for answers. So here is the deal: I am a wife, a mother, a loved one of family and friends. I have learned a few things along the road of life. I am sure that describes many of you who may be reading this or someone you may know to whom you can relate on a real-world level. Most of all, I am a student of life, and I have a hunch that you might be one too. My goal here is not to claim that I am a qualified expert. My vision is two friends, you and I, students of life, having conversations. Conversations that shift your perspective that cause you to feel a click in your entire body, signaling this is the moment everything changes. Conversations that give you a sudden rush of relief to know you are not alone. Conversations that ignite liberation, light-bulb moments, and peace. Conversations that are catalysts for bringing more of the good in our lives. Conversations that provide answers that lead to a well-lived life. The best lessons that I ever learned did not come from a classroom or someone with a fancy piece of paper with their name attached to it. The best lessons came from the people I love deeply and sat by in a chair lakeside. This blog is my way of continuing that legacy and tradition with you. So friend, a fellow student of life, please pull up a chair with me.
